Our Goals

Project Goals
Our goal is to scan, index and make the collections of the OCGS Well Log Library, the Oklahoma Well Log Library (Tulsa), the Petroleum Information Center (Norman) and the Ardmore Sample Cut and Library available at a reasonable price.

Unique collections  - not available commercially - will receive scanning priority, but all documents in each facility will be included in the ELO online library by project completion.

Phase 1
Create the organization. Begin fundraising efforts. Develop a prototype of the full project. Determine the specifications and costs for scanning and indexing. COMPLETED

Phase 2
Complete the production website, scan and index the most valuable and unique collections. Currently raising capital to continue scanning of unique collections. Completed scanning and indexing of 167,000 strip logs and 133,000 pages of core descriptions at OPIC. UNDERWAY

Phase 3
Scan and index the remaining documents. We can have the complete reference library online in as little as 18 months, if the pledges are in place.
